The hotel is EXTREMELY NOISY, even now at 23:13 there are kids running up and down the corridors, slamming doors. The bar staff are great and the drinks are lovely too however at night times the queue is awful and could do with a few more staff on because you can only have one drink at a time and is a nuisance having to keep getting up and standing in the queue for a good 15 mins each time, same with the bar upstairs at meal times. Food is ok, it's not very warm even when fresh food is put up however always manage to find something to eat at meal times, deserts the same every day at every meal time. However rooms are very clean although basic and only 4 plug sockets, 1 of which is broken. Beds are very uncomfortable, bunk bed is too short and have to sleep with legs bent or have them hanging off the edge. The queue was a mile long and only one lady on reception checking everyone in, other guests kept interfering going straight to the front of the queue and the lady just stopped what she was doing to deal with other customers!! When we were checking in we were told we only had one room, however when we booked we booked 2 as there is 4 adults, we were told we could only have one because the hotel is full, the hotel isn't full it's March and it's not very busy at all!! The room is tiny, bunk beds and 2 singles, not much storage space for clothes etc at all, balcony has one chair and a lovely view of a brick wall, you look down and there's what looks like the back of the kitchen or something, very noisy with people shouting. Entertainment and bar is near enough in the reception, very noisy. We arrived at 11pm and after a long day of travelling wanted to get to the room and settle. Currently staying at this hotel, upon arrival there were a large group of teenages smoking round the entrance, very unwelcoming and not a good first impression.
